The Unappreciated Benefits of Natural Light. Exploring the critical biological functions of a complete and balanced light spectrum (condensed version of a previous article). By A Midwestern Doctor (09/12/24)
Story at a Glance
Sunlight is free and profoundly beneficial, yet industries profiting from illness directly oppose it. This article explores forgotten knowledge of light's importance and actions within the body.
Sunlight is crucial for our health. It dramatically cuts the risk of dying or getting cancer (yet we’re incorrectly told to avoid it).
Vitamin D from sunlight is important. But so are many other largely unknown critical functions of light in plants, animals, and humans (this article explains).
Our constant exposure to artificial light likely is a root cause of many modern physical and behavioral issues.
Blood plays a key role in conducting light throughout our bodies. Disruptions in this process (e.g., from wearing glasses that block certain parts of the light spectrum) can lead to serious health problems.

Conclusion
Natural light is critical for cellular health. Trump was unjustly hounded and ridiculed after asking about a new COVID-19 treatment which put an ultraviolet light into the body and could disinfect the lungs within a minute.
The backlash hurt millions for two main reasons:
It stigmatized using safe, effective, widely available COVID-19 early treatments including nasal disinfectants (e.g., iodine, hydrogen peroxide, or hypochlorous acid). Had these treatments been publicized widely, the “pandemic” likely would have ended quickly.
It stigmatized putting light inside the body, which is one of the most useful (but largely forgotten) medical therapies ever developed. Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI) is discussed in another linked article.
