Robert Roberson is scheduled for execution in Texas this evening (10/17/24). We must act quickly to try to prevent this. His conviction was based on unscientific evidence, inaccurate and misleading medical testimony, and prejudicial treatment. 

Please take immediate action to save Robert Roberson from imminent execution. He was convicted of killing his baby after a now-discredited diagnosis of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Her death likely was caused by a vaccine injury and medical misdiagnosis / malpractice — NOT his actions.

Above is an in-depth story about how, in an unprecedented move, the Texas state legislature and state Supreme Court instituted a temporary stay of execution. Mr. Roberson will have a chance to testify on his own behalf.

Key points:

  • All other avenues to halt the execution of Texas death row inmate Robert Roberson failed: his legal team lost multiple appeals in state courts, the Texas pardons board rejected his bid for clemency; the US Supreme Court declined to intervene.

  • While Roberson prayed just before his scheduled execution on 10/17/24, the Texas Supreme Court issued a temporary stay shortly before his death warrant was set to expire at midnight.

  • While the high court issued a temporary stay to halt the execution, the petition for the injunction is still pending.

    • Roberson appears to be a very nice and remorseful individual.

    • Roberson was convicted because he did not show immense remorse when he brought his dead daughter to the hospital. Turns out, Roberson was developmentally delayed and autistic (likely due to a DTwP vaccine injury)

    • Roberson’s conditions gave him a flat affect, which made him not overtly demonstrate remorse (as autistic people often have difficultly externally showing how they feel).

    • The expert who’s testimony convicted Roberson (for Shaken Baby Syndrome, SBS) convicted another individual whose conviction was overturned and hence there is a clear precedent to not execute Roberson.

    • Due to issues discovered at trial, his case should have been thrown out or retried.

    • The basis for his murder conviction (shaken baby syndrome) is no longer supported by evidence or experts that previously supported the diagnosis

    • Shortly before death, the expert who popularized SBS stated “I am doing what I can so long as I have a breath to correct a grossly unjust situation.”)

    • To date, at least 32 parents and caregivers in 18 states have been exonerated after wrongful convictions for SBS.

    • Many existing medical conditions could have explained Roberson’s daughter’s death, but her ER doctor did not recognize these and instead gave her lethal doses of an opioid and an anti-nausea drug.

    • A recently discovered CT scan determined only a minor impact to the head (due to falling out of bed) that could not account for the brain changes observed.

    • Roberson will be the first person to ever be executed for shaking his baby to death.

    • AMD looked at the medical history of the case and discovered:

      Days after her birth, Nikki had the first of many infections that proved resistant to multiple antibiotics, including chronic ear infections that persisted even after she had had tubes surgically implanted. She also had a history of unexplained “breathing apnea” that caused her to suddenly stop breathing, collapse, and turn blue.

      In other words, beyond her doctor missing an emergent pneumonia diagnosis (and instead prescribing lethal medications), she also had two classic signs of vaccine injury—recurring ear infections and recurring episodes of apnea (breathing cessation)—the exact same thing that has been observed repeatedly to result from vaccination and cause SIDS.

  • Conclusion

    • Evidence has shown that SSRIs (anti-depressants) have led to violence and suicides

    • Shaken Baby Syndrome and likely its companion diagnosis of SIDS has proven unscientific. The actual cause likely is childhood vaccination, though the pharma companies and government agencies will deny this.
