You Might Want to Rethink that Annual Mammogram (posted 10/25/24)
Frequent mammograms have long been “standard of care” for women. But not everyone agrees they are a good idea due to discomfort, radiation exposure, false positives (and negatives), possibly unnecessary anxiety-causing biopsies and treatments, and lack of evidence that mammograms actually extend lifespan.
