I promised this post to a LinkedIn employee named Eliot, after they tried to ban me for "misinformation", once again. I always keep my promises. By Sasha Latypova (10/28/24)
LinkedIn banned and locked Latypova’s account claiming she posted “misinformation,” from a peer reviewed paper in New England Journal of Medicine. The paper discussed a gene therapy (Skysona) with a special SV40 “promoter” that causes cancer in at least 10% of the recipients. Merely posting facts reported by other scientists got Latypova banned — sheesh!
Latypova didn’t take that ban sitting down. Instead, she exchanged letters with a LinkedIn employee named “Eliot” (if that’s his real name) who simply could not define misinformation. Read her description of all the nonsensical hoops LinkedIn made her jump through. The exchange illustrates a classic approach we all can adopt (if only we had her talent).
Following the exchange, LinkedIn apparently and magically restored Latypova’s account. Speaking Truth! Standing Strong! Let’s All Try It!
