FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington told workers in Florida to “avoid homes advertising Trump” as they canvassed for residents who could qualify for federal aid.
FEMA failed to answer nearly half of the calls for aid and assistance recently received during Hurricanes Helene and Milton. On average, the agents took more than an hour to pick up the calls they did answer.
