The private sector is learning that much of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) model is discriminatory and subject to expensive litigation. Corporations are “quietly altering” their approach.

Despite federal agencies facing a mountain of legal challenges, the Biden administration has pressed on with a “whole of government” DEI effort.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) — with a budget surpassed only by the Pentagon — employs 294 DEI staffers at an annual cost of $38.7 MILLION, plus another $29.4 million payroll for seven Offices of Minority Health within various HHS agencies.

Great research, excellent article from Open the Books! We hope it goes directly to Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy in the new DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) to stop DEI everywhere it exists in government. (DEI already is starting to fall in the corporate world thanks to efforts by Robby Starbuck and others.)

DEI is low-hanging fruit that DOGE must prune mercilessly. It helps no one while enriching government employees and the DEI industry. 

Let's return to meritocracy, equal (and quality) treatment for all, and founding principles. DEI must DIE. And it will, once the sweet, sweet taxpayer money dries up like a prune.
