Idaho Freedom Caucus (IFC) expressed delight in President Trump’s election and his initial picks for his administration. They go on to request that Trump focus on several key federal mandates to make the populist mandate durable and provide room for states to do the rest:

• Secure Federal Elections

• Fortify the US Constitution and destroy the censorship regime

• Secure Borders and Immigration

• Implement America First Foreign Policy and Peace

• Implement Sound Fiscal Policy to improve the economy and lower taxes

• Dismantle the Federal Bureaucracy

• Remember the 9th Amendment of the US Constitution: Rights not enumerated in the Constitution are retained by the people

IFC closed with congratulations and appreciation, and a strong mandate to:

Return to our federalist principles, roll back federal agencies, and send back control to the states. The Supreme Court has made this clear with recent rulings overturning Roe v. Wade and Chevron Deference.
