Trump has nominated Dr. Jay Bhattacharya to head National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Bhattacharya was a staunch critic of the COVID-19 lockdown era and co-author of The Great Barrington Declaration, an alternative to lockdowns published in October 2020.
One of just a handful of “voices of reason” in academia, Bhattacharya is a Stanford professor and Director of Stanford’s Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging.
