Idaho Governor Brad Little Press Release | Idaho State Police troopers deployed to Texas for fourth border mission (12/02/24)

Governor Little sent another team of Idaho State Police (ISP) troopers to Texas for the State of Idaho’s fourth border mission. They will remain in Texas until mid-December.

The 13 troopers — assigned to the ISP Domestic Highway Enforcement (DHE) team — will assist the Texas Department of Public Safety in intercepting drug traffickers and human traffickers pouring into the US over the open border. When they return to Idaho, the troopers will train other ISP and local law enforcement on techniques the Mexico drug cartels use to smuggle drugs, weapons, and people into America.
