Idaho Senator-elect Christy Zito published an eloquent letter supporting the decision of Coach Shawn Garus and the Women’s Volleyball team at Boise State University (BSU) to forfeit their opportunity to play in the 2024 Mountain West Volleyball Championship tournament.
BSU refused to play San Jose State University’s team because it included a male player, creating unfair and dangerous conditions for the all-female BSU team.
