RFK Jr. And The Samoan Measles Outbreak. Painting RFK jr. As An Anti-Vaxxer Is A Transparent Facade. Guest Essay by David Marks. Guest post hosted by Robert W Malone MD, MS (12/16/24)
This article clearly explains that many governments lie about the necessity, safety, and efficacy of vaccines and persecute those who tell the truth. In this example, the Samoan government claimed that “RFK Jr. was responsible for an epidemic in 2019 that caused at least 83 children to die due to vaccine hesitancy.”
What was the truth?
RFK Jr. actually helped the Samoan government develop a system to enable health officials to assess the efficacy and safety of medical interventions or drugs, including vaccines.
In past measles epidemics, children who died often were malnourished or immunocompromised.
98 percent of those sickened in 2019 had been vaccinated consistently six to seven days prior to illness.
The MMR vaccine is a live, attenuated vaccine that contains weakened live strains of measles, mumps, and rubella (German measles).
A poorly attenuated vaccine likely caused the serious disease in Samoa, since different measles vaccines used in neighboring Tonga and Fiji — with concurrent outbreaks of the virus — did not suffer the same dramatic mortality rates.
The Samoan government never acknowledged the fact that the outbreak subsided after Samoa switched to a different vaccine; instead, they focused on promoting the vaccine and silenced those who questioned authority.
Edwin Tamasese, a Samoan health advocate who questioned government policies during the outbreak and shared his observations with RFK Jr, ultimately was arrested for his actions. After hearing testimony from the prosecution’s chief witness, a nurse, the judge threw out the case (to the usual media silence).
