Not to be a doomer, but we seriously need to start fighting against our decline into a vibes-based culture.
More things should have a point. Works of art should have a meaning (or at least an inspiration). It can’t be good for us to pickle our brains in endless, pointless content, chemically stripped of any context or further purpose beyond tickling your brain for 15 seconds.
Companies that accelerate the decline should feel bad about themselves. Someday, they probably will.
