One of my favorite authors is Joseph Heller

Maybe his most famous work is Catch 22. A real life catch 22 shaped my career. I was determined to see China and a catch 22 forced me to do it as a civilian.

Maybe my favorite is God Knows. After reading that book, I love David…I see David as someone I would enjoy being with…and I think Heller understands David better than others. He brings human meaning to the gravity of calling any city, a City of David.

And he does it with humor.
