Ohio State basketball has added to its freshman class with 7-1 Serbian center Vuk Lazarevic. Joins Anthony Thompson and Alex Smith in the freshman class, and four incoming transfers, as Jake Diebler’s team will have seven new faces next season.
Lazarevich averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds per game at Wasatch Academy in Utah during his senior season. Late rising three-star prospect who also had recent interest from UConn.
OSU already has experienced front court depth with Amare Bynum, Josh Ojianwuna and Ivan Njegovan coming back, plus Andrija Jelavic coming from Kentucky. So I’m not thinking Lazarevic will be a main contributor this coming season, but it’s nice to get some more size in the pipeline.
