Yesterday was my hospital checkup day for cancer recurrence screening, which put me behind in my workflow. The good news is that I’m healthy after undergoing surgery in June 2024 for aggressive Stage 3 cancer in the abdomen. During the time off yesterday, I also decided to revise the database and publishing systems—a decision that turned out to be successful, but also a far bigger task than I had anticipated.
