Dunfermline-born Doug Allan helped define modern wildlife filmmaking, from the Antarctic to the BBC’s biggest natural history series. His story began with his photographer father Morris and reached the world through his unforgettable work with David Attenborough. His passing is a sad loss to his family, his town and this fragile planet. RIP Doug.
