Spiritual practices are means, not ends.

Read the Bible to let God speak, not get through a reading plan.

Give to join God in His generosity, not meet a religious requirement.

Pray to bring your burden to Jesus, not check the prayer box on your todo list.

Every spiritual practice is a doorway into a deeper life with God.

Something to consider today:

- Can you think of a time when a spiritual practice felt empty or mechanical? What made it feel that way?

- Which of the practices (prayer, Scripture, fellowship, worship, giving, service) feels most like a “means to an end” for you right now, and what “end” do you think God is leading you toward in it?
