Don’t want to give certain dolts the attention for their bad takes, but it’s fairly widespread enough to be worth addressing in general:

blaming Bulls fans for showing up to games is asinine

This market is big enough and has enough history to where there is a low threshold for garnering support, expensive support at that.

This is a GOOD thing. Should even be leveraged instead of used as an excuse, but that’s a loftier goal.

For this current situation, It is not on fans to ‘send a message’ that 9th place is not acceptable to support the squad.

It should be “not good enough” for the people in charge. And I don’t think it’s complacency: they are ‘competitive’ enough people to want to be better, they are just bad at their jobs! No fan action can help that.
