sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

You can bet public opinion is not going to be really happy about this Special Counsel, considering how Mueller's got so heavily redacted it was basically worthless. I'm really disappointed. More wasted time and delay. Didn't they move faster on Nixon?
Nixon took awhile, if you start at the right place. but the world--especially this country--was vastly different. from where I sit, it was a better place in a whole lot of ways but old guys, I've been told, ALWAYS say that. it was also a lot nastier in some ways. so it's complicated.
I lived through the Nixon mess, David. 2 years ago Trump made the damning call to Georgia. Nearly that long ago he formented an insurrection. Delay, delay, delay.
I have to agree things have changed a lot in the last 40/50 years and not too much for the better in some ways. And yes, it's complicated, but too many cooks spoil the broth, my Gran used to say.
