Today, I am sending my deepest prayers to the President and his family, and am hoping for his speedy recovery.

The next president has to do two things: 1) right the wrongs of Trump and go after those who broke the law and were corrupt. 2). Then spend time divesting power from the presidency and building real guardrails and passing laws like, “the president is not immune” etc.

Politics aside, President Joe Biden is a human being — a father, a husband, and someone facing a very real and aggressive cancer diagnosis.
I just saw the news about his prostate cancer spreading to the bone, and I’m praying for him and his family as they navigate this difficult time.
This isn’t about red or blue, left or right. It’s about compassion. No matter what political party you support, I hope we can all agree that moments like this remind us of what truly matters.

sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

The problem isn’t that Terrence Howard avoids/declines acting roles that would require him to kiss another man. He has agency. It’s his body. It’s his choice.
The problem is him volunteering this information to the public, especially in a violent way (“cut off my lips”), when no one was asking for it.
Actors should never be pressured into intimacy they don’t want to do, but no one was pressuring Mr. Howard.
He just randomly offered up his weirdly violent revulsion to kissing another man. It’s weird and unnecessary and more than a little unkind.
Sarah Palin just lost her absurd libel case against The New York Times after the jury deliberated for only two hours. Nibble on that little schadenfreude, you godless heathens.
