Welcome back Macabre Monday folks! Double posting today because I’d like to invite the participants to join me in a fun writing project! We choose a horror topic and return in 2 weeks (October 9th)to see our unique spins in short story format (3k words max). Our theme for this round is “liminal space”.
Forbes describes liminal space as a “place a person is in during a transitional period. It's a gap, and can be physical (like a doorway), emotional (like a divorce) or metaphorical (like a decision).“ In Internet culture, however, it refers to a certain aesthetic: that which is simultaneously familiar and alien.
