I hesitate to use the word "fascism" as its meaning has been so distorted and overused by media and the left as misdirection for their own actions. This speech does exactly that; calls out the undeniable movement in many European nations towards a fascism only remembered by the very old and the objective historian. They took hold in the early 20th century by using the media, infiltrated and funded by state actors, to characterize the opposition as doing the same thing they were in fact doing; police state bullying, speech suppression, and election interference. Vance has called them out without using the word, but it is obvious to even the casual observer. Assuming of course that the observer has ever read or studied their own history.
