First, Lydia “preaches” to Paul, Timothy, Silas, and Luke by grounding her invitation to “stay at my home” in the evidence of her conversion through their gospel announcement. Then Paul preaches to the new community at Lydia’s house before his missionary team departs. Who do you think preached to them the next time they met ... in their church building ... which was Lydia’s house?
