Hey friends, can I get some crowdsourcing help, particularly from women? I have an old friend in my town who is a hardcore complementarian (many years ago, I was as well). He has developed the habit of asking: "Why do women who feel led to teach think they need to teach behind the pulpit? Why isn't it enough to teach in women's classes or in children's ministry? Why do they think they need to preach on Sunday morning to feel like they're getting to use their gifts?"

He thinks this is a brilliant question. We have argued back and forth about this, but I am curious how women would respond. I'd love to read him some quotes (withholding your names, of course). Can you help me?
