Aminus3 Photography asked for our favorite image of the year for the photo prompt this week. As 2025 comes to a close, I will say that I was lucky enough to have several images that I took this year that I really like. If I pick my favorite tomorrow it might be different. But right now, I’ll post this one. I like the simplicity and the texture. And I like the fact that this defiant leaf held its ground through a wind and snow storm, digging in and holding on in extremely difficult conditions when you would think it would just blow away.
