Make money doing the work you believe in

Thinking Machines cited Hayek: knowledge is tacit, local, held by the people who earned it. Centralized AI can’t hold it. They’re right.

Then they stopped one question short.

When a clinic fine-tunes a model on the hard-won knowledge of the people it serves — who governs what happens next? Did those people consent? Can they revoke it? Do they share in what it earns?

Decentralizing weights is not decentralizing power.

The unit of adoption isn’t an organization customizing a model. It’s a community negotiating a relationship — consent, membership, exit, benefit.
