💫Let’s talk process💫 This is a time lapse of a comic. In order to have content for zines and comics I try to write one poem a day. Usually they are only a few sentences. It’s a good way to check in.

I have a messy notebook where these scribblings live. A lot of stuff is scratched out or rewritten. I also doodle in there and make up characters. Sometimes I make a quick story board. When it’s time to make a zine or comic I look through the writings and pick one I like.

Certain characters tend to say certain things. My coyote woman usually talks about my feminine experiences or being a mom.
