Realized a 26-year dream of mine this morning by reading in the Radcliffe Camera, part of the Bodleian Libraries at Oxford University.
Not only that, I was reading Plato for a reading project largely inspired by my time at Oxford during the summer of 2000. At that time, I did not have a pass to enter the Bodleian Library. This morning, I obtained the pass and read, worked, and dreamed in this hallowed space.
When I opened my Plato book, I was met with the bookmark I’ve been using for the past 26 years, a photo of books from within the Bodleian Library, and a reminder of my desire to return and inhabit.
This morning, I did so.
