PERSIAN GULF—In what is being called an unfortunate incident, the whereabouts of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Ginni, were unknown on Saturday after a superyacht carrying them on a luxury cruise strayed into the Strait of Hormuz.

Reportedly, the ship’s owner, Republican superdonor Harland Dorrinson, was busy advising Justice Thomas how to vote on upcoming Court cases and failed to notice that the vessel had drifted off course.

In Washington, the wife of fellow justice Samuel Alito paid homage to the Thomases by lowering her QAnon flag to half-staff.

At the White House, Donald Trump appeared to take the Thomases’ mishap in stride, telling reporters, “It is what it is.”
