I recognize it has become acceptable because of its prevalence (similar to the acceptance of irregardless), but please, PLEASE, stop using the term geopolitical to refer to international relations. It has a specific meaning (please google it from a source that doesn't recognize its slang usage). It has become reporter/pundit shorthand for anything involving international interactions and it has subsumed an actual term in the process.
