Tandyn Almer: One of the most mysterious, enigmatic, and ultimately, tragic figures in rock history, and little has been written about him. But, he was a friend of Brian, who quickly recognized his prodigious talent: Tandyn wrote “Along Comes Mary,” which became the first hit for The Association in 1966.

Brian was so giving and generous to other artists, and happily invited Tandyn to join him in writing 2 classic Beach Boys songs: “Marcella” and “Sail On, Sailor.”

To know Brian’s heart is to become familiar with the talented artists with whom he worked, influenced…and inspired (and who inspired him back).
