Greetings, my friends! Day five of Flash Fiction February is here, and with it, a new fantasy prompt that includes an added layer! 

You may choose to take on an optional challenge today. As many of you know, I have a connected Fantasy/Sci-fi universe called D'veen with standalone stories and an ongoing series. The stories often star (or are narrated) by a bard named Finton Merrybrook. 

You can see him depicted in the art below by Tamsin G (or Tamsin G., which is her current form 😂).
