I'm not sure we are going to be one country in the next 20 years. Seriously. Even before the latest gerrymandering madness, I've thought that political extremists on both sides have completely taken over our politics and that we are approaching the point of no return to make any meaningful progress towards common-sense solutions for the country as a whole.
The aim of mobile voting is to materially increase turnout, especially in primaries, to go from 10% to 30% or 40% to move things to the middle. If we do that, we can start to take our country back and defeat toxic partisanship. But without mobile voting, and if things keep going the way they are, there really may be no way back.
