Anchorage, Alaska is moving forward in offering ALL: registered voters the option to vote from their phone in next April's local elections. This is a chance to showcase our new open-source technology that will make voting more secure and more accessible.
Voters in a place like Alaska, whether living temporarily in a remote corner of the state, deployed abroad in the military, or stuck at home caring for family, will no longer face a barrier to the ballot box.
We are eager to work with more jurisdictions around the country — starting small in local elections — to build trust in this approach and show the potential of mobile voting.
