It’s worth noting here, that to many peoples of antiquity, knowledge and nature were inseparable. Nature was seen as being preceded by informational structure or intelligibility, whether these were called forms, divine words, or divine thoughts, the nature of reality was understood as informational, hence, man’s ability to contemplate divinity through reflections on his own nature.
