Balls, balls, balls. Good grief. 

Everywhere I look, people on both sides are talking about “their guy” having balls.  Back in my day, this kind of slang was considered rude and inappropriate in formal discussions of international politics—shoot, maybe it still was three months ago. But I digress.

The phrase "having balls" suggests courage is a guy thing, tying bravery to testosterone and anatomy.

 Of course, testosterone can play a role in dominance and risk-taking, but courage isn’t about biolog…
