Make money doing the work you believe in
Please share this note far and wide. You can put your art, poetry, etc. on a post card for $0.72 per post card. Standard shipping was free for my $18.02 order (25 postcards for $17 + tax). With the cost of a US postcard stamp at $0.61.
This means that for $1.33 I can send someone a note and a smile! I am blown away by this! For those who make art, you could easily mark these up because it’s your art. I am not selling this one, I am mailing it out to people in need of contact - elderly, my nephew in prison, my niece with cancer, etc. I am going to make some more with my own photos.
BTW - Canva allows a range of quantities from 100’s down to a single 1 per order. The price for 1, with the options I chose, was $9.00-ish for the one, but for an artist who could order in bulk then mark it up for selling at something like $40 each that is fantastic! Or you could do some that are simply postcards, at a reasonable price for actual mail use, and sell them in the local art and bookstores. Just spitballing here, lol. It’s what I do.
Bill Adler generously allowed me to use a photo and short poem he shared in SS notes. This is a completed postcard I made with it, using a QR code to Bill’s site to credit him. It is SO beautiful, and I assembled it on Canva, who now does print and ship!!! Thank you so much, Bill.
