My writing has been quiet on here lately.
I’ve been missing it and feeling a little sad that I haven’t been “writing” as frequently as I prefer.
Then I stopped to reflect.
I have been writing.
I’m in school to become a DOJ-accredited immigrant representative.
I am actually writing a lot.
I am writing about immigration history and how history is repeating itself.
I am writing about immigrants’ lives.
I am writing about trauma.
I am writing about hope.
I am writing about legal sources.
I am writing memos after interviews.
I am writing comments on live regulations—advocating for justice.
I am writing encouragement to my classmates.
There are seasons of our lives that may look a little different in writing—all is welcome and needed.
I am writing a lot these days, and my goodness, what I’m writing is so needed and necessary in our world right now.
