Gas is not a short-term, medium-term or even long-term win for the country. And obviously it’s a disaster for the climate (which we need… for an economy at all).

This budget devotes $200m to finding new gas fields, whilst defunding biodiversity programmes and electrification. All that and it still doesn’t make economic sense.

So I need someone to explain this thinking to me. Because it seems like it’s just for the super profitable FF companies, but why would they do that… 🤔
