At the bottom of the drawer, I found this microphone. I had bought it for a collaboration with a local web-radio, but in the end, I had to give up my live slot because it wasn't economically sustainable.
Here, more or less all of us write out of passion, and more or less all of us would like it to turn into a job; it would be nice to also talk about how much one is willing to lower their earnings to zero just to get known, doing a job even and especially for the benefit of others.
In short, I said no to that opportunity and threw the microphone in the drawer. I also scolded myself a bit: 'Ginevra, is it possible that you immediately fall in love with ideas to spend your savings on, even when they might not materialize?'
Actually, this object at the bottom of the drawer, which I have now moved onto the desk, speaks of me and what I would have liked to do. And the things we would have liked to do reappear, later on, in other forms.
In the end, I decided that I would take my live slot in my newsletter, which I publish in audio mode (as a podcast).
If you like, tell me about your object at the bottom of the drawer
