The most important decision of your life is whether or not to follow Jesus. It’s a decision with eternal consequences.
Jesus said, “What good does it do a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul?” (Matthew 16:26).
All the pleasures and material objects of this world are fleeting and meaningless. Only your relationship with God matters.
The Bible says those who reject Jesus are condemned (John 3:18).
Are you condemned? Is your faith in Jesus or the things of this world? If you say it’s in Jesus, ask yourself this… Do you know Him? Do you really know Him? Are you absolutely sure if you died right now you’d go to heaven?
If you’re unsure, take advantage of this moment. The Bible says now is the time. Now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
You get one life. That’s it. The Bible says each person dies once and then comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27).
And Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
In the Book of Revelation, we learn a day is coming when the earth and sky will flee His presence (Revelation 20:11), and the people of the earth will have nowhere to hide.
On that day, anyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). But those who trust in Jesus will awake to everlasting life (Matthew 25:46).
Make sure you awake to everlasting life. Nothing else matters more than your relationship with Jesus.
