So I’ve been working on the illustrated hardcover for Grumble and Gasp, and I’ve come to a discovery.

Color printing is… not for the faint of heart.

I just submitted it to Amazon for review. With 13 color illustrations inside, to make it work through Amazon’s print-on-demand, the price would need to land around $39.99 just to turn a small profit and keep me in beans and bread.

Which means this particular edition is shaping up to be something a little special.

Think of it less as the everyday reading copy, and more as the fancy, illustrated, “I like this story enough to give it a proper home on the shelf” edition.

In other words… this one’s just for the super fans.
