Congratulations to Coach Cronin on achieving his 232nd career loss (134-61 at UCLA). The look on Hep Cronin's face during the TV broadcast when the Bruins were completing their faceplant said it all--poor dad looked visibly ill (I wonder if he's sticking around to attend the OSU game).

With only 4 more regular season games remaining, the players and coaching staff still seem unable to address a lot of their team's inconsistencies and individual weaknesses. But maybe I'm worried about the wrong stuff, according to Coach Cronin during the postgame interview (amusing, as usual):

"I'm going to say this again--because all we're worried about is our shooting instead of playing defense. I've been doing this a long time. I know when my team's mind is on the wrong stuff. Our crowd's mind is on the wrong stuff. Our crowd makes--they make it worse when a guy misses a free throw. I mean the stress in Pauley is crazy when a guy--'uhhh, uhhh'--I mean, the guy's not trying--how about help the guy? How about cheer for the guy? I mean it's not like he's trying to miss the free throw. That just makes it worse. Everybody's worried about the wrong stuff!"
