I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

It’ll be hard to rebuild Florida if the federal government is in default. Wonder if desantis is thinking about that. But also, what is the endgame here? What happens the day after they force us into default?
desantis is not "thinking about that" right now; desantis is a "taker" right now & too busy to send Texas asylum seekers from Venezuela to DC or a Massachusetts's island.
