welcome to the rearranged house tour 🤣✨
Two weeks ago I did a big rearranging/reorganizing/redecorating of my home for maximum functionality for my kids, as well as to create some more intentional creative spaces for myself. I recently shared my new reading nook, but I thought I would do a little tour of everything I did because I’m so proud and excited!
This was the piece that started it all. This was a huge dresser that I got for free from a friend, but for my particular flavor of ADHD, I just don’t do well with dressers. I don’t own enough clothes to fill them, and it was creating a barrier to easily putting away my laundry so I knew it was time to go.
I moved it out of my room, which opened up so much space and I put it in the playroom. Now my kids have so much more space for their toys and it is barely even filled right now, so we have room to grow into it as we need to! And it is much sturdier than the previous playroom dresser and this is a piece I don’t mind getting messed up more.
I also had some cottagecore inspired Star Wars Portraits in my youngest’s room and it was fun to bring out the Darth Vader one to parallel with my husband‘s Darth Vader Alexa device lol. 🤣
