John 13:35

"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

i am externally processing here but just roll with me 🤔

there seems to be a loneliness epidemic in the church body at least what i am hearing from moms.

maybe it’s the American church and how it’s set up?

as someone who has grown up in an evangelism-heavy family and church, i sometimes feel like my gift and passion for exhortation gets lost. maybe that’s my own feelings of insecurity.

but I love moms. i love women. i love connecting and encouraging and interceding for them.

i feel helpless a lot because I don’t feel like i am evangelizing enough.

but much of the opportunities i have in my life is to pray for those Christian and non-Christian moms (or those somewhere in between) and just encouraging them the best way i can.

so how are we loving other women and moms in the church?

if women are feeling so lonely and isolated within the church, what does that tell the people about how we will love those outside the church body?

just some thoughts i have been ruminating on. i am looking for more ways to love the women around me, in my church and in my community, more intentionally as well as here on Substack.

as moms, we have an important ministry to make disciples within our family first and i am so passionate that we can not do that without the exhortation of the believers around us.

thanks for coming to my Ted Talk 😅✨🫶🏼
