Twenty years ago today, I fulfilled the dream I’d had since I was young and went independent.

No safety net. No plan B. Just a little independent design studio and trust in the universe that I’d figure it out along the way.

And... I mostly did. (Still am.)

Dozens and dozens of incredible clients over the years. Restaurants, coffee roasters, breweries, artisan cheese shoppes, small businesses, and several that went on to become big ones. I worked alongside some remarkable partners, friends, and mentors who taught me more than they probably realized — and eventually took everything I’d learned and folded it into Caldeira Co.

It’s been a wild ride. Occasionally terrifying. Mostly rewarding. And always interesting.

I’m not one for big announcements, but twenty years feels like it deserves a moment. Grateful for every client who took a chance on me, every collaborator who pushed me, and every project that reminded me why I do this work.
