We usually think of story as content—something spoken, written, or performed. A narrative we recount after the fact. Characters, events, plots, meanings arranged into language. But story also operates at a deeper level—as pattern. We live inside stories long before we name them. Our structures, habits, and institutions behave like narratives. The way we organize power, time, attention, and relationship is already a story in motion.
