Maggie Rogers’ video is something I think about probably once a month.

To me its a quintessencial example of serendipidity and to create singular art. Whenever I feel like I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, I go back to artifacts like this video, the idea of negative capability, and a bunch of other nuggets of inspiration that keep me afloat.

There’s so much to reflect on from the last 10 years. I remember how scared I was, how quickly my life was changing. In a weird way, I think this video really cemented my sense of spirituality. It crept in through the window of the unexplainable and out of control. I had to surrender to the tidal wave of change overtaking my life, have a little faith it was all for the best, and let the current carry me downstream.
