Canada has many impressive waterfalls.

Niagara Falls is the most famous with the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America.

But what some waterfalls lack in flow, they make up for in height.

These are the tallest waterfalls in Canada.

James Bruce Falls:

The tallest waterfall in Canada and North America is James Bruce Falls. With a drop of 840 metres from a snowfield in Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park in British Columbia. It is the ninth-tallest waterfall in the world.

Madden Falls:

At a height of 579 metres, Madden Falls in the Pacific Ranges of British Columbia is Canada's second-tallest waterfall. One step is 152 metres tall, the 13th tallest single drop of any waterfall in Canada.

Swiftcurrent Falls:

Located in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia, Swiftcurrent Falls have never been officially measured but the height is estimated to be 537 metres.

It is so remote I couldn't even find a picture.

Kingcome Falls:

Located in the coastal mountains of British Columbia, the waterfall is an estimated 520 metres in height. Also very remote, I found only one possible picture of it from 2005.

Schwartzenbach Falls:

Of the confirmed 18 tallest waterfalls in Canada, only one is outside BC.

Schwartzenbach Falls is located in the Weasel River Valley of Baffin Island. It is 520 metres in height.
